I finally got a job! The people are cool. All that matters is that you work and get things done. None of this "you have to look the same and live the same" crap. It's got some challenges and long as I keep my head out of my arse, I can get the job done. The pay is not great, but I could care less. I just want to work!
I'm trying to create a database of my cassettes so that I can throw them out and just put them on disc. I can't believe some of the stuff I used to listen to. Most of it was heavy metal and now that I'm old enough to read the lyrics and understand them, I wonder if these bands were really into Satan crap. The funny thing: on close inspection, Black Sabbath's lyrics don't come across as "Satanic" but rather bitter about the reality the Bible sets for mankind.
Still reading Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, its a thick book and has all these rituals packed with way too much information for my brain right now. I'm not even sure half the time what I'm reading about. Then there are moments when it makes perfect sense. The book is really meant for a student that knows that this is what they want. I'm just reading it because it caught my attention and came to me by accident. Being brought up in a Christian household, I tend to be superstitious and suspicious about things like this. I was raised to believe that symbols, symbolism (except for the cross) were some form of devil worshipping. Yet all the Christian sects use symbols and symbolism. I might have to just place it to the side because I really want to read about Kant.
