Class was hilarious today. The woman that has a hot-temper showed her true inner strengths today. I wanted to tell her she could be a lawyer or one of those empowement speakers for women with low self-esteem, but I wasn't sure how she would take it. I think if she continues to focus her great bold, courageous and honest personality we may see her as Jersey's first black female govenor. Her convictions are strong and no one will ever take that away from her. As far as the guy that I now used to call Doofus. He showed some traits of being human, I won't forget that whenever I begin to feel negative thoughts towards him. I was right that he was judging me, I was wrong that I cared. Praises to God that after finding these things out I finally felt a sense of letting go and focusing on what really matters: my freaking grades! 'Nough about the peanut gallery, what the hell have I been thinking for the past two semesters? My grades are plummeting. I made a pact that no matter how horrible things got at home I would continue to study hard and like it. Needless to say, I didn't stick to this and things have gotten pretty bad here. Just recently have these things started resolving themselves, but living with two active alcoholics that have no sensitivity to the fact they are stomping over my love for my mother nearly makes me homicidal. It's so disrepectful, because they don't really belong here in this house, but there's nothing I can do except... ...get two jobs , save up , and move the hell out! I feel this will help me study better, because they are too noisy for me. Just my luck I'll move out and get loud neighbors. After cramming for my finals, I've decided for my winter break (if work permits) to study the Middle East. I want to know what it is all about. I've been pretty much indifferent towards it, I think because I don't understand it all. My goal is see if there is one major event that has lead to its current conditions, learn key characters, gain insight from both arguments, find out what the "neutral" people think, and review both national and international laws that can influence it. I don't expect this project to be done by the end of winter recess, but I do expect to accomplish at least one of these goals by then. It seems as if these events are having some sort of influence over the rest of the planet and I want to know why.
