Does Andrea Peyser really think that Eric Fischl did all that work just to attack and offend people? I admit it's probably not such a good idea. However, for myself, and many others, the footage capturing the desparate victims jumping to their deaths were the most traumatic. I have recurring nightmares about these people feeling that jumping from a 100+ story building was their only relief. I feel Americans should remember this, because if this doesn't piss you off, then what will? I mean, are we mourning the loss of the people or the frigging building? Let me rant a little further about this article... She goes on to crucify Fischl for the very fortunate fact that Fischl was in the Hamptons and not in NYC during the attacks. Anyone that was watching the news that morning was a first person witness, because it was all in real time! So whether Fischl was 2 ft. from the Trade Center or not, he , like many others was deeply impacted. I was in our living room thanking God my sister was on disability that month. People always tend to distort things when it comes traumatic experiences. They distort in the sense that they start trying to make it seem like they are more important because they were two blocks away. Also, I didn't like the fact that this year some people acted as if 9-11 was a holiday. NY rigged their friggin' pick3 for god's sake. You can send over 3000 advanced statisticians and I still won't be convinced that the pick3 was not rigged. I bet none of the winners decided to donate their prizes to the victims' families. Ok enough grouching from me. I'm still working on my layout for this page and some new material I need to scan or upload. 'til next time, Peace.
