Labels Are for Clothes
This article made me think. Not something I do often. Do men tend to get asked that question more often than women? I would think so.
So I've been heavily practicing my Chinese (Mandarin) lately. I would like to be able to actually put a sentence together that I feel 100% confident in its correctness. Chinese grammar is very difficult for me, because it seems as if there is no grammar, but rather specialized rules for the use of every single morpheme. Then there is this thing with disyllabic verbs and monosyllabic verbs;which ones can undergo reduplication, etc. I'm going to school, there is just no other way to do this. I pat myself on the back for giving myself a good four-year foundation in the language, but now it's time to let the experts take over. In the meantime, I guess I will continue to try to record my more secret thoughts in (most likely, very broken) Chinese.
