I have no clue what may happen to US(U.S.) in the future, but I guess I might as well be as prepared as possible in case I'm one of the unlucky to survive. So I've decided to share with you what I have found to be some good knowledge on the web for survival during disasters: Nuclear War Survival Skills by Cresson H. Kearny Emergency Essentials' Insight Articles Survival Link I'm reading Stephen King'sThe Stand for the 3rd time in my life. It's one of my favorite books, because he actually makes you think about just how useless you would be in the case of any disaster. For instance, if there was an epidemic like the Captain Trips of his story, the electric would be gone (duh), but how the hell would we get it back on? I don't even know where to go to in order to accomplish that goal. Apparently, neither do any of the sites I've visited early this evening. Anyway those three were my favorite. By the way, ever since the attacks on the 11th I have been feeling something between slight apathy and fuck all. Like not much really matters. You can go back to your cubicles and trade paper for things, but it's all fake and defeats the point of living, because some guys with weird things on their head are going to come along and just take us(U.S.) all for granted. Huh? Perhaps some prozac and Johnny Walker Red will help...
