downloads... roses... downloads.... more roses.... That's how my life has been for the past couple of weeks. Now that I have a CD burner, I've been downloaded every song I can remember from the time I was born. Especially 80's stuff, oh it hurts me to think that the 80's have come and gone, and there is some kid out there going who is Paul Young or who are the Thompson Twins.
Blockbuster Junkies
I've watched a shite load of movies also: I finally got to see Crouching Tiger, and I loved it! The only boring part of the movie was the sex in the desert scene other than that it was well worth the wait. Now I want to learn Kung-fu so I can kick some Johnny Depp look alike's ass and fall in love. Just kidding. Ok what else did I see: Requiem For a Dream loved it, if you have not viewed it yet, play close attention to the superfabulistic original score. Stepford Wives for the hundreth time, and still loved it. 2001:A Space Odyssey Im kind of iffy about it, that big star baby irks me. It seems like the director didn't know how to end it. Before Night Falls loved it so much, I must buy a copy and read the main character's works. Inkwell loved it Quills couldn't take my eyes off the television screen, excellent movie. Red Planet blah, could take or leave it Mission To Mars not a 4 star movie, but the highlight of the story was done wonderfully Traffic loved it, it was realistic and kept me on my toes from beginning to end. What Women Want blah, kinda funny Girlfight loved it Gentlemens Agreement excellent storyline, but there is something funky about the directing, see if you can pick up on what I found to be a little funky about some of the scenes and dialogue. It's an old movie, so look in the classics section. L.A. Confidential loved it, but Kim Bassinger got an award for her role????? Less Than Zero first time seeing it, and I wonder, still, why there was much to-do about it. I know there are more, but I cannot remember them. I should invest in Blockbuster. Not to mention, Starbucks, which helped me watch some of the movies. All I can say is, Thank goodness I didn't have my favorite Starbucks drink during Requiem For A Dream. I can't believe it, I have not bitched about what's wrong in the world today.
