Re-starting my dictionary journey again. I got all the way to iatric and realized that I want to learn latin names for animals and plants. So this time I'm doing it the see it and say it way! Aaardvark (Orycteropus afer) has taken me on a long journey. I've learned what edentate means and I found out that there is a such thing as a dental formula. You will learn at that link that we are still evolving via this high frequency of congenital (existing from birth) absence of the wisdom teeth. Isn't that freaky? We've been removing them so long now that it seems we are being born without them. Is this really possible? I also thought that it was weird that the aardvark will hide its own feces... Well, besides trying to know it all, I'm still trying to get my network up. Small technical details seem to elude the tech support at Linksys. For instance, I found out that AMD processors running Win98SE have timing trouble with USB devices. On the emotional level: I've decided why have one (an emotional level, that is). People don't come with troubleshooting manuals, so why bother? I'm not going to try to figure people out or even try to understand them anymore. Not until someone prints a troubleshooting manual on human nature. It would look something like this: My husband won't take out the garbage: Have you:

• Had sex within the past 2 weeks? If no, try having sex with him tonight. If yes, keep reading.
• Did you get into an argument resulting in his ego being torn apart? If yes, have sex with him and tell him it was the best you've ever had. If no, keep reading.
• Did you complain about the "toilet seat" thing within the past 2 weeks? If yes, have sex with him and reassure him that he is the only that rocks your world. If no, well try sex anyway, it usually works.
