- yay! got a scanner today! i put up a tiny portfolio of my clothing designs. i have to warn you if you decide to check it out, that i'm not an artist. i have never been to art school. i hope you actually check them out, click on the fashion link on left hand.
also today i saw Fight Club for the first time ever. i liked it and it kept me going. however, i'm afraid that it will have the same effect as Interview with a Vampire. i don't talk about this too much, but movies are starting to affect people in strange ways. after Interview people started getting fake fangs, drinking each other's blood, and insisting that vampires are real. it was annoying because i felt embarrassed for them, especially those that were way past their teens. Thelma & Louise is one of my favorite movies, but i'm not going to go out and shoot cops. i can just feel it, i'm going to start running into guys with bruises and shit.
what i really liked about the movie was the scene between the main character and his boss, to me, that was the major pivoting scene. i don't want to give it away to anyone who has not seen it yet. However, i did a search on Yahoo and found this old Village Voice article Extreme Sport: An Interview with Thrill-Seeking Novelist Chuck Palahniuk, he is the guy responsible for writing the book. i think i want to read his stuff.
