Whoa! I wasn't kidding about my spelling, I just edited (or editted) that last post! Anyway, I being my usual sad self on this Saturday/Sunday morning was playing karaoke (check this out, it's free:van basco) all by myself. Anyway, I came upon a site with Sting and Police .kar files(cool arse midi files that also have a little screen that places the lyrics right in front of you!) on it! My first record (a 45) was Doo Doo Da Da Da by the Police. So I have always held a warm spot for them, especially Sting, since I can remember. Oh gosh, I feel like a DID(damsel in distress.) What are the chances that Omar Epps will come by and rescue me? Lately, I've been getting annoyed that people seem to think it's a sign of intellect when they use French words in place of English words every 2 or three lines. Come on already, try throwing in a little Mandarin Chinese or Korean! Let me be the first one to take the leap: for now on whenever I want to say Ugh! I will say Woyo! Sure it sounds stupid, but I think I will vomit the next time someone uses ' à la ' or ' à propos ', etc (Woyo! As if!) It would even be nice to hear a new German word once in a while; something long and fun to feel at the tip of your tongue. This leads me to finding some people to share some multilingual software solutions. If you speak a Latin-based language and haven't bothered to try to learn non-Latin ones; then you'll probably have no clue what this wu yiyi de tanhua (gibberish) is. I will use Mandarin Chinese language as an example. With Mandarin Chinese there are several ways to communicate: by simple hanzi characters, by traditional hanzi characters,and by pinyin( a romanized-form.) Most of my troubles arise when I try to create a document using all of them. Since I'm working on a tutorial for others that are trying to learn this language, I really need a quick and easy way to incorporate these different input methods into my documents. The problem gets worse when you start getting into the e-mail, chat clients,and instant messengers sector of the Internet. Bu yong shuo (Needless to say), this isn't the least of my troubles.
