As if almost turning 26 and not being Madonna or Bill Gates wasn't enough. I've just received a friggin' reunion letter. It's scheduled for 2003, that'll give me time to get a better job! Hehe... I can't believe anyone was cruel enough to invite me, there were only two people more hated than I. One ended up raping and killing a little girl, I think they put him in a nuthouse and the other one, well who the fruckus-buckus knows. Woyo! As if! Ok at least I have something to make me want to do better. For instance, I really fruked up my anorexia crusade yesterday. I just realized that I've been reading what's on other people's booklist and watching their movie lists. So now I'm going to bore you with mine. Starting With Books: (Not in any particular order) Stephen King and Peter Straub's Talisman, The Stephen King's Stand, The Marion Zimmer Bradley's Mists of Avalon,The Vladmir Nabokov's Lolita Anything and everything by Alice Walker Sistah Souljah's Coldest Winter, The Anything but not everything by Yukio Mishima Æschylus's The House of Atreus: Agammemnon/Libation-Bearers, The/Furies,The W.E.B. DuBois Souls of Black Folks,The The Movies Women, The (1939) Joan Crawford, Norma Shearer. An all female cast and a fashion show to boot! Brother Orchid Edward G.Robinson. Kick-ass gangster goes good movie. White Heat James Cagney. Classic ganster movie. Magnificent Ambersons, The Jospeh Cotten. The Orson Welles masterpiece overshadowed by none other than, Orson Welles's Citizane Kane Imitation of Life Mahalia Jackson, Lana Turner. Nothing human can watch this without crying. Mr.Deeds Goes To Town The cutest Gary Cooper movie. To Live Gong Li, one of my favorite actresses. It's subtitled and there are no frukked-up Chinese stereotypes.Break out the kleenax; this movie gets deep. Farewell My Concubine I've seen this movie 10 times! It's subtitled (that's the only way) and also very intense. Best Man, The Some of the world's most beautiful black men; all in one movie. Can you say Aaaah? All About Eve Ms.Bette Davis herself is in it! That's all that matters! Judgment At Nuremberg This was my first major confrontation with the Holocaust, in school they sugar-coated it; but one summer I found out the Truth. If you don't watch anything on my list but this, I will feel like some amount of justice has been served. peace out g-money grips!
